Wild boar has extra long britles that are very stiff. Great to use for tails on mayfly patterns, for beetle legs or tentacles. On small flies (18 or less)the hair can be easily split into two or three equally sized tails. The split must be done after the hair is tied in place. It is faster and easier to work with Wild Boar than nylon fibbets. Underfur for dubbing use.
